Charity Solicitor, 5+ Years’ PQE Oxford | GBP £60,000 – £85,000 (DOE)
Join a **highly regarded Legal 500 firm with a strong reputation for advising charities and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Charity Solicitor with 5+ years’ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our dedicated charitable sector practice.
As part of a vibrant and growing team, you will provide commercially astute, pragmatic, and compliant legal advice to charities, trustees, and NFP organisations across a broad spectrum of legal and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on:
- Establishing and registering charitable entities.
- Trustee duties, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Charity mergers, asset transfers, and closures/de:registrations.
- Liaising with the Charity Commission.

Draft and review essential documentation, including:
- Governance policies.
- Constitutional documentation.
- Compliance frameworks.

Deliver solutions that balance legal soundness with commercial pragmatism.

Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen our firm’s established presence in the charity sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ PQE, specifically gained advising charities.
- Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, governance, and NFP administration.
- Self-motivated, insightful and eager to progress your career within a collaborative environment.
- Preference for partners’ debentures and/or giltфонды experience.
