Charter Driver
A Charter Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Operating a vehicle to safely transport people while providing excellent customer service are the most important tasks of this role.

Requirements
- Age 21+ with a valid driver’s license for 3+ consecutive years
- Satisfactory driving record (no suspensions or major violations)
- Ability to pass a background check, CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), and SORI (Sexual Offender Record Information)
- CDL B with S&(P) endorsements, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to drive to various locations, including flexible arrival times for last-minute changes
Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus to transport authorized passengers safely, adhering to timely schedules and provided directions during field trips, sporting events, or other events.
- Assess traffic, weather, and road conditions while monitoring passenger behavior.
- Strictly follow state and federal traffic laws, company safety policies, and minimum Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA).
- Maintain valid CDL, school bus certifications, and compliance with state/federal guidelines, including medical exams, drug tests, and driving records.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, as needed.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
