Purpose Of the Role:

To provide effective road charter solutions in response to customer and internal department requests, including Sales, Cargo Plus, and European and UK dispatch teams. The role is responsible for sourcing cost-effective and efficient transport solutions that maximise profit, while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure all reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time, with charter documentation processed efficiently and maintained to a high standard.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise profitability while maintaining service quality and meeting customer expectations.
  • Carry out accurate administrative tasks, including updating shipment statuses, obtaining and filing Proofs of Delivery (PODs), processing invoices, and preparing customer quotations.
  • Monitor customer compliance with export documentation requirements to support smooth and error-free customs clearance.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on customs documentation requirements, helping to resolve customs-related issues and minimise delays to export shipments.
  • Complete Brexit-related administrative activities, including entering information into Government Gateway systems and updating customs data on processed shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments including Export Customer Service, Warehouse, Transport, Customs, and Sales teams, as well as colleagues across UK and European branch networks.
  • Support the efficient movement of freight by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met and service levels maintained.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
