Looking for more than your next surveying role?
At Pinders, we're not simply looking for another Chartered Building Surveyor.
We're looking for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in the growth and future success of our Building Consultancy team.
For over 50 years, Pinders has provided trusted surveying, valuation, consultancy and expert witness services to investors, lenders, developers and business owners across the UK. This is a genuine opportunity to join a respected national consultancy where you'll enjoy significant autonomy, direct client exposure and a clear pathway towards future leadership.
What you'll be doing
You'll be involved in a varied and rewarding mix of:
- Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and acquisition surveys
- Commercial building surveys and reporting
- Project monitoring instructions for banks and lenders
- Inspections across commercial, leisure, hospitality and historic property assets
- Client relationship management
- Business development and networking
- Supporting the growth of the Building Surveying team.
Whilst the role is centred around Milton Keynes and the surrounding region, our client base is national, so travel across the UK will form part of the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
