Job Description Summary
Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Building Consultancy
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Service Line: Project & Development Services – Building Consultancy
We are looking for a driven Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join our growing Bristol Building Consultancy team at Cushman & Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a strong regional client base spanning the South West and Wales, supporting a mix of investors, landlords, occupiers, and developers.
You’ll be involved in both professional and project-focused instructions, with real scope to take ownership of workstreams, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our Bristol offering.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a full range of Building Surveying services, including:
- Dilapidations (landlord & tenant)
- Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
- Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent duties
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA)
- Schedules of Condition
- Building pathology and defect diagnosis

Additional responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key point of contact for regional clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Working collaboratively across the wider Project & Development Services group
- Assisting with business development, client retention, and bid activity
- Contributing to projects across the South West, Wales, and wider UK when required

Skills & Experience
- MRICS-qualified with relevant Building Surveying experience (1–5 years PQE ideal)
- Strong track record in delivering core professional instructions
- Experience in project delivery (CAT A/B refurbishments, maintenance works, minor works)
- Confident communicator with strong report writing skills
- Commercially aware, organized, and proactive
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture
- Experience with regional investor, developer, or occupier clients is an advantage
