Chartered Building Surveyor

Chartered Building Surveyor

Plymouth | Up to £55,000 + Benefits Package

Looking for a role where you'll have genuine influence, varied projects, and the opportunity to take ownership from day one?

We're working with a growing property and construction consultancy that is expanding its Building Surveying team. They are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys balancing technical expertise with project delivery and wants to work on a broad range of interesting developments across the region.

The Opportunity

This isn't a role where you'll be confined to a single service line. You'll be involved in both Building Surveying and Project Management activities, giving you the chance to lead projects, work closely with clients, and see schemes progress from initial concept through to completion.

Whether it's restoring historic buildings, delivering healthcare improvements, or managing commercial refurbishments, you'll play a central role in making projects happen.

Project Sectors

You'll gain exposure across:

  • Residential Developments
  • Commercial Property
  • Healthcare Facilities
  • Heritage & Conservation
  • Public Sector Projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
