Chartered Financial Planner / Chartered Paraplanner (Dual Role)
Location: Cheshire (Remote, Hybrid or Office-Based)
Working Pattern: Flexible
Salary: Competitive + Bonus
IRCFS is delighted to be representing a highly respected boutique Wealth Management firm that specialises in advising Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an exceptional Chartered Financial Planner / Chartered Paraplanner to join its experienced advisory team.
This is a rare opportunity that combines the technical depth of Chartered Paraplanning with the relationship management and strategic planning responsibilities of a Chartered Financial Planner.
Working directly alongside one of the firm's Founding Partners, you will become an integral part of the advisory team, supporting an established portfolio of sophisticated UHNW clients while contributing to the delivery of bespoke financial planning solutions.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional paraplanning position. The successful candidate will work in a dual-capacity role, combining advanced technical expertise with meaningful client engagement, supporting complex financial planning strategies and helping to maintain long-term trusted client relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
