Chartered Surveyor Apprentice
This is a 3-year programme where you will complete your learning journey with The University of the Built Environment. You will work towards a MSc degree in Real Estate Management and gain your RICS chartered membership alongside your role at John Crane.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM subject (grade 2:1 or First)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Responsibilities
- Support our Property Manager with: liaising with Smiths Global Real Estate Partner, reviewing and negotiating leases and contracts, supporting the acquisition and disposal of sites worldwide, working with internal and external legal counsel, liaising with external brokers and specialist consultants, collating information for regular progress calls, oversight of major fit-out and premises Capex projects, providing support and advice to individual site leaders on property related issues, day to day property related tasks, upkeep of records and data, and other administrative tasks.
- Gain practical hands-on experience within our property team.
- Develop soft skills with our early careers team.
- Learn from our property partners at Cushman and Wakefield.
- Be part of the volunteering team for The Smiths Foundation.
