Chat Support Agent (Remote) – £30,000 + Training Provided – Entry Level
Location: Remote (United Kingdom)
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a friendly and customer-focused Chat Support Agent to join their growing remote customer service team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with full training provided, making it ideal for graduates, career changers, and candidates with experience in retail, hospitality, administration, or customer service. As a Chat Support Agent, you will provide professional support to customers via live chat, email, and online messaging platforms, ensuring every interaction delivers a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries through live chat and online messaging.
- Provide accurate information about products and services.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when required.
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems.
- Process customer requests and update account information.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve enquiries.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while meeting response time targets.

Skills & Experience
- Excellent written communication and typing skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and online systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, professional, and empathetic approach.
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, administration, or contact centre experience is beneficial.
- No previous chat support experience required – full training provided.
