This is an opportunity to join a well established, medium sized privately owned funeral company.

The ideal candidate will be a well presented, courteous and respectful individual who will be a team player. The role will be customer facing, often dealing with clients coping in difficult times. You will offer an empathetic approach and a sympathetic understanding.

This role will offer a variety of responsibilities covering many different elements of the funeral industry to ensure the preparation beforehand, and on the day of the funeral, means we are able to provide a service of the highest standard.

There is some level of physical work involved in the role which will require the candidate to have a reasonable level of fitness.

The normal working hours are 8:30 – 17:00 but you will also be expected to join our ‘out of hours’ rota for evenings and weekends. These extra duties or any overtime is paid at enhanced rates.

Requirements

  • Good level of formal education
  • References will be obtained
  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
