The Role - Kitchen Support & Kitchen Management Services

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team as part of our Kitchen Support & Kitchen Management Services offering.

In this role, you'll work across various client sites, providing hands-on culinary support where it's needed most. Whether it's assisting with food preparation, running a section, or ensuring full kitchen management, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients maintain high standards and smooth service at their place of business.

This is a zero-hour contract role offering flexibility and variety, but you must be willing to travel nationwide and have your own transport as our clients are based all over the Midlands and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional kitchen support across diverse client sites
  • Confidently run a section and assist with general prep, service, and compliance
  • Work under the direction of Webben Chef Services and their clients
  • Uphold food hygiene, safety, and allergen standards at all times
  • Represent Webben Chef Services and their clients with integrity and professionalism
  • Adapt quickly and positively to new teams, kitchen environments, and different ways of working

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience as a chef, with exposure to multiple sectors (restaurants, events, hotels, contract catering, etc.) is ideal
  • Full UK driving licence and reliable transport (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety (Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum; Level 3 preferred)
  • A flexible, dependable, and adaptable approach
  • Great communication skills and a proactive work ethic
