Catering Chef – Portrait of Portland Mews, Caterplus
At Portland Mews within Caterplus, we do more than serve food—we build a community. For the over-55s, we craft warm, welcoming spaces where connections flourish over fresh, hearty meals. Every dish is made with care, high-quality ingredients, and an extra helping of warmth.
About the Role
As our dedicated Chef, you’ll own your impact in a role that blends culinary talent with teamwork.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish prepared
- Keeping the kitchen and service area immaculate, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Staying up-to-date with menus and interpreting customer preferences
- Delivering personable, welcoming service to guests
- Upholding strict adherence to COSHH, food safety, and health & safety regulations
- Providing mentorship and support to juniors as part of your role
Working Pattern: ✅ Every Friday | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Salary: £5,005 per year (~ £16/hour)
