Chef – Full-Time Position (37.5 Hours/Week) | Chartwells

We’re hiring an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells, a leading food service company in the UK. About the Role

This full-time position (contracting 37.5 hours per week, 43 weeks per year) offers:

Typical Shift Pattern

Mon–Fri: Full-time (Day shifts) (Sunday and Saturday shifts dependent on operational needs)


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare delicious, high-quality meals that consistently impress our clients and customers
  • Oversee and implement menu changes, ensuring they align with quality and demand
  • Identify and act on opportunities to enhance food service delivery
  • Listen to and incorporate customer feedback to refine offerings and improve experiences
  • Assist in developing new menus and creative food concepts
  • Represent Chartwells professionally, maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure kitchens remain well-stocked
  • Oversee kitchen cleaning to uphold hygiène and safety standards
  • Comply with all Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Criteria

Your application must demonstrate: ✅ A passion for exceptional food and outstanding customer service ✅ A Food Hygiene certificate (mandatory) ✅ 中等职业技能证书(City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 或同等专业资格) ✅ Previous experience supervising a culinary team ✅ Demonstratable expertise in an ** analogue Chef role** ✅ A flexible approach to working hours/patterns
