Chef – Catering Team (Saturday & Sunday Shift: 8am–8pm)
About the Role
Working days: Saturday & Sunday – 8am to 8pm
We are seeking a passionate and driven Chef to join our Catering team and contribute to delivering our world-class food and drink experience for clients and site visitors.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring food quality and taste meet our highest standards.
- Managing inventory, stock ordering, and raw materials supply.
- Budget control with a strong focus on reducing wastage.
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and health & safety compliance.
- Preparing and cooking meals for clients and customers.
- Providing support to the Site when the Senior Chef is unavailable.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to excellence in food and service.
- Operate independently while thriving as part of a high-performing team.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handling Certificate (assistance available).
- Ideally, have experience in contract catering (not required, but preferred).
- Hold (or be able to achieve) an equivalent qualification to:
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or a Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
- Possess strong knowledge of health and safety and food safety protocols.
- Excels in communication and customer service, engaging effectively with visitors and clients.
- Demonstrate passion for food and service, with expertise in seasonal, high-quality meal preparation.
