Chef
Ambitions Chef (Part-Time, 31.5 Hours Per Week) — Healthcare Catering
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Chef to contribute to creating exceptional food experiences within Healthcare catering, working on a part-time basis (31.5 hours per week).
As a key member of our team, you'll help prepare and serve food designed to brighten clients' and customers' days. Note: This role is part-time, contracted weeks per year.
What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food to delight clients and customers
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes and food service improvements
- Listening to and acting on customer feedback to enhance experiences
- Supporting the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts
- Representing Healthcare’s brand and maintaining a positive reputation
- Monitoring food stocks to keep kitchens wellstocked and efficient
- Ensuring kitchen hygiene standards are upheld
- Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a passionate culinary professional with:
- A strong love for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or an equivalent NVQ qualification
- Experience supervising a team
- Prior experience in a similar Chef role
- A Food Hygiene certificate
- A flexible and goal-driven attitude
