Requirements

Essential:

✔ Possess City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ (or equivalent) ✔ Evidence of praxis in team leadership ✔ Strong nutrition understanding ✔ Fluent in seasonal food knowledge ✔ Exemplar teamwork skills to build warm, welcoming environments ✔ Fulfilling HACCP standards

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Managing the kitchen efficiently in cases of Head Chef absence
  • Transforming fresh produce into high-quality, nutritious dishes meeting and exceeding standards
  • Creating a warm, efficient, and enjoyable kitchen team environment
  • Working within budget and ensuring sound stock control & auditing
  • Supporting team leaders with goals, motivation, and cohesion
