Chef – Bank Chef (Casual, Part-Time) at Barchester

NEED TO HAVE
- A warm, approachable personality with a genuine interest in residents’ well-being
- Certification equivalent to City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ in culinary arts
- Experience in leading and motivating teams
- Solid understanding of nutrition and dietary needs
- Proficiency in working with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Knack for creating a welcoming, home-like kitchen environment
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
NEED TO DO
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations when absent
- Craft and execute high-quality, wholesome dishes using fresh produce
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture
- Work closely with budgets while maintaining excellence
- Conduct regular kitchen audits
- Monitor and control stock and inventory
- Support leadership in team motivation and collaboration
