Full-time, permanent Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office/studio in Kennington, London)

The Role

We’re seeking a Chef Content Manager to lead our chef-focused initiatives—balancing editorial and commercial responsibilities while mastering industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Editorial Liaison:

    • Negotiate with chefs and PRs for campaigns, ensuring alignment on commercial opportunities.
    • Suggest and secure the perfect chefs for brand partnerships.
  • Chef Profiles & Content Management:

    • Maintain accurate, engaging profiles and our bespoke chef database.
    • Write chef profiles and occasional feature articles.
  • Creative & Beyond:

    • Organise, script, and manage photoshoots and video shoots, collaborating with videographers and photographers.
    • Refresh and optimise landing pages for chefs.
    • Partner with the team to refine video and editorial content.
    • Attend industry events, positioning Great British Chefs at the forefront of hospitality conversation.
    • Curate guest lists for our own events.

  • Cross-Team Support
    • Assist the wider content team with projects, ensuring cohesive storytelling and delivery.

Skills & Experience

Essential criteria:

  • Proactive leadership with a well-developed UK hospitality network.
  • Sharpshooting copywriting skills—calculating tone and relevance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving UK restaurant, culinary, and chef landscape.
  • Genuine excitement for food media content and the prison-to-inclusion angle brought to the table.
