About the Role
We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to support the kitchen team at our upcoming new opening in Covent Garden—Zylia!
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Chef from a high-volume, multi-cuisine background looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate has a passion for bold flavours, thrives in a high-energy environment, and is eager to develop their career within a fast-expanding restaurant group. This role will have a strong focus on open charcoal grill cooking, so previous experience working with open charcoal grills is essential.
As a successful Chef de Partie at Zylia – Covent Garden, you will:
- Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality
- Use top-quality ingredients to create dishes from our innovative menu
- Work confidently on an open charcoal grill, delivering exceptional flavour and consistency
- Have the opportunity to support and learn from senior chefs while mentoring junior team members
- Manage your section efficiently during busy service periods
- Adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Help build a beloved neighbourhood taverna
- Celebrate Cypriot traditions and flavours
- Be part of a supportive, family-style restaurant environment

Ideal Candidate Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Bring 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie (or higher) in a high-volume, multi-cuisine environment
- Have previous experience working with open charcoal grills in a professional kitchen
- Show a natural passion for food and a strong understanding of diverse global cuisines
- Bring a positive "can do" attitude and can work collaboratively across multiple teams
- Have excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and develop
- Are capable of working under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail
- Have a genuine love for simple, honest, and authentic hospitality
- Are passionate about Mediterranean culture
