About the Role
At Soho House, a Chef de Partie supports the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. As a Chef de Partie, your role is to ensure that every dining experience is amazing for our members.
We seek a passionate individual who thrives in a high-quality food environment and is eager to connect, grow, and contribute meaningfully to our team.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to ensure the highest quality food delivery to our members, including:
- Preparing food before service
- Setting up and stocking kitchen stations
- Plating food to company standards

Key Duties
- Plating food according to company guidelines, maintaining the highest standards
- Ensuring mis en place is completed before service
- Maintaining a professional attitude at all times
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Attending front-of-house and back-of-house meetings, including daily tastings and updates
- Supporting junior team members through mentorship and collaboration
- Assisting with team meal preparation, accommodating dietary requirements and variety
- Demonstrating a proactive approach to learning, improvement, and teamwork
- Engaging in deep kitchen cleaning before close
- Properly wrapping and storing unused items post-service

What We Are Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
✔ Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy, high-profile venue ✔ A natural flair for first-class service ✔ Reliable, friendly, and relationship-driven personality ✔ A passion for food, precision, and a desire to grow in the industry
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar culinary role
- Fundamental knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- A positive, proactive, and respectful demeanour in a fast-paced kitchen
Nice-to-Haves
- Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2)
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency through training (e.g., Club School)
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Adaptability to group directions, teamwork, and independent work
Remuneration (UK-Based Role)
