Champneys Springs

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £32,760 per annum plus tips

At Champneys, we are a prestigious luxury brand where wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. Our food offering is central to the guest journey, combining nutrition, flavour and presentation to create dishes that support both health and indulgence.

Our kitchens are creative, forward thinking environments, made up of passionate chefs who are eager to learn, develop and continually raise standards. We are proud to invest in our people and to support long term culinary careers within the Champneys brand.

As Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your section while working closely with the senior kitchen team to develop your technical skills, leadership capability and understanding of wellness focused cuisine. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior chefs, broaden your nutritional knowledge and progress your career within a luxury hospitality setting.

Your Role Will Include

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest Champneys standards, with consistency, creativity and attention to detail
  • Taking responsibility for your section, supporting and coaching Commis Chefs in their development
  • Working closely with senior chefs to continually improve standards, skills and kitchen performance
  • Developing a strong understanding of dietary requirements, allergens and ingredients
  • Building detailed knowledge of the nutritional value and wellness focus of our menus
  • Maintaining an immaculate, well organised and hygienic working environment
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen, Front of House and wider resort teams
  • Supporting cost control through responsible stock use and budget awareness, escalating issues to the Head Chef where appropriate
  • Supporting Front of House colleagues with menu knowledge and guest interaction
  • Confidently responding to food related guest queries, contributing to an exceptional guest experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
