As Chef de Partie of this luxury Cheshire hotel you will take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section , ensuring all food is prepared and presented to 5-star standards. As a Chef de Partie working in a brand-new kitchen, you will support senior chefs in delivering consistent quality, upholding exceptional kitchen standards, and contributing to a smooth, professional service. This Chef de Partie role is ideal for a driven chef looking to develop within a high-performing, luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Take full ownership of an assigned section during prep and service

· Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and to specification

· Deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control

· Support smooth service and assist other sections when required

Food Quality & Standards

· Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications and brand standards

· Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and discipline within the section

· Uphold kitchen standards and procedures at all times

· Minimise waste and support cost control initiatives

Teamwork & Development

· Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth operations

· Support and guide Commis Chefs and apprentices

· Communicate effectively with senior chefs during service


Health, Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations

· Maintain high standards of health & safety within the kitchen

· Report accidents, defects, or hazards in line with hotel procedures

· Attend all mandatory health & safety and fire training

Skills & Experience Required

· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-driven or luxury kitchen environment

· Strong technical cooking skills and understanding of classic techniques

· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards

· Good organisational and time-management skills

· Passion for quality ingredients and professional cookery

· (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
