Chef De Partie - E-Street Bar & Grill

Job title: Chef De Partie
Location: E-Street Bar & Grill, Petworth
Hours per week: 37-42 hours per week. Weekend working will be required.

About The Role

Our Chef De Partie will be wholly responsible for the running of the kitchen. You will be someone with excellent culinary skills who is knowledgeable on food and its' provenance. A strong leader, who can demonstrate the skill set required for a smooth, hygienic kitchen operation, delivering quality plates at all times.

Responsibilities

The Chef De Partie will be responsible for:

  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully compliant at all times.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen setup and service readiness every day.
  • Drive strong communication between kitchen and front of house.
  • Lead by example on hygiene, food quality, and standards.
  • Train and support junior chefs, helping them grow.
  • Manage stock, ordering, and costs to minimise waste and maximise profit.
  • Work with suppliers to secure quality ingredients at the best value.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and food safety checks.
  • Deliver high-quality, appealing dishes aligned with the brand vision.
  • Stay on top of food trends and industry developments.
  • Act on feedback to continuously improve service and food quality.
  • Ensure fast, efficient service with strong team coordination.
  • Promote seasonal and standout products to boost sales.
  • Create a positive, energetic, team-focused kitchen culture.
