We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Black Rock Restuarants.

Burnt Orange is about more than good food and drink. It’s a place you feel relaxed. It’s an afternoon that turns into an evening, because, when the service is this friendly, the atmosphere this easy, the music this carefully pitched and the seats this comfortable, you can’t help but settle in.

We are a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar in the beating heart of Brighton, moments from the seafront and just a few streets from the historic Lanes. We’re confident you’re going to love it, because it’s your idea: the grown-up hangout that’s open all day and just the right amount of night.

Our Chef De Partie

  • Are self-motivated natural team players that thrive under pressure.
  • Keen to thrive in the busy kitchen environment.
  • Have a genuine passion for creating the finest dishes.
  • Handle fresh ingredients, prepare them to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a professional manner while under pressure.
  • Ensure Health & Safety rules and regulations are followed.
  • Are eligible to work full-time in the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
