Monday – Friday: 7AM – 3.30PM Some paid overtime available on evenings & weekends

About the Role
We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at RGS – Royal Grammar School, Guildford.
You’ll support food preparation, maintain high standards, and contribute to daily meals and special events.
You’ll be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, serving independent schools and colleges. Our experienced team tailors catering services to meet the unique needs of children across ages, ensuring tailored and bespoke requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Motivate the team to achieve high standards in food and service
- Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently upheld
- Contribute to innovative menu planning
- Manage mise en place for smooth, efficient service
- Assist with events, functions, and school life
Candidate Profile
Ideally, you’ll have experience as:
- Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
- Within contract catering, preferably in independent education or a high-profile industry
