Company Description Searcys is looking for a Chef De Partie to join the team at 41 Portland Place. Located near Oxford Circus, 41 Portland Place is a stylish central London venue offering the perfect setting for conferences, press and product launches, dinners and receptions, parties, weddings and filming. 41 Portland Place is a Grade II* listed Georgian Townhouse, rich in Georgian architecture with many historic features symbolic of the period. 41 Portland Place has recently undergone a full refurbishment and now provides the perfect event spaces that seamlessly combine traditional features with contemporary facilities and state of the art AV. As a Chef De Partie you will receive the following industry leading benefits: 50% discount across Searcys venues Enrolment into the Searcys pension scheme Up to 38 days annual leave (dependant on job role and location) Access to everyday discounts and communication portal Chef whites provided Employee assistance programme Meals provided on shift when working within one of our venues Quarterly chef incentives Annual celebration days Birthday off Opportunity to enrol on WSH chef academy Job Description As a CDP you will work in our kitchen, providing staff food for the Academy's staff which is plant based- vegetarian menu, sandwich lunches, dinners, canapes, bowl food.. Timings,: mainly Monday- Friday, but we do have the occasional event on Saturdays. No set Rota, needs to be flexible to work day shifts and/or evening shifts. Contract: 20 hours per week contract ( during normal season an average of 30-40 hours a week) However, less hours on quiet periods such as half terms, Easter. Salary: £17 per hour Based at AMS, 41 Portland place but with opportunities to work at other Searcys venues. Key Responsibilities To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business. Responsible to manage stock levels of the section you are overseeing including ordering when required. Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs. To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to Any other reasonable request by the Senior Management. Able to work on their own and as part of a small team, good knowledge about HACCP paperwork.
