Location: Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire

The Role: Chef de Partie
This critical position within the Kitchen Team requires:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A deep commitment to maintaining high service and cleanliness standards
The Chef de Partie plays a pivotal role in:
- Assisting with daily kitchen operations
- Managing their designated kitchen section
- Delivering a satisfying dining experience for guests
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Technical Duties
- assist in daily kitchen operations
- support the Head Chef in liaising with all suppliers
- manage ordering, stock control, and inventory needs to ensure sufficient supplies
- ensure all food meets required standards before serving
- comply with food hygiene regulations for the entire kitchen team
- promote and enforce hygiene standards through scheduled cleaning
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- delegate kitchen duties efficiently among the team
- maintain a positive, professional atmosphere by leading by example
- assist when additional support is needed
- train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen staff

Personal Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality role
- Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Desirable
- Experience managing formal or large-volume service setups
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior completion of further Food Safety Training (where applicable)
Employment Details
- Hours: 45 per week
- Weekly Availability: 5+ days (including weekends)
- Shift Times:
- 08:00 – 17:30 (typically morning shifts)
- 13:30 – 23:00 (typically evening shifts)
- Salary: £32,361.84 per annum (flexible based on business needs)
- Nation of Hire: Visa sponsorship not available → Applicants must hold legal right to work in the UK
