The Role: Chef De Partie
Amazing at MAM London, a Novotel London Blackfriars restaurant, we’re seeking a dynamic Chef De Partie to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment. proficiency under pressure with flexible shift availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Section Management:
- Lead and oversee one designated kitchen section to meet the standards set by the Head Chef.
- Ensure preparation in your section is complete, timely, and ready for service.

Stock & Quality Control:
- Maintain strict stock control and monitor food waste.
- Ensure prepared food and ingredients meet quality standards.

Cooking & Execution:
- Prepare and cook dishes to high standards efficiently under pressure.

Cleanliness & Organisation:
- Maintain the sanitation, tidiness, and organisation of your section.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide support to the Head Chef and Sous Chef in achieving food service excellence.
- delegate roles to junior chefs and apprentices, acting as a mentor to develop their skills.

Customer & Guest Experience:
- Actively contribute to ensuring every guest (residents or visitors) has an outstanding dining experience.

Other Duties:
- Take on additional tasks as required by line managers and hotel operations.
Essential Requirements
- Experience & Temperament:
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen.
- Highly collaborative and able to function cohesively within a team.
