Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Chef De Partie to join our professional and dynamic kitchen team in an hotel Food & Beverage operation, supporting breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This role enables you to craft memorable culinary experiences while contributing to the smooth operation across the entire hospitality venue.

Key Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive)

  • Food Preparation:
    • Prepare and cook dishes strictly according to recipes and kitchen standards set by the head/sous chef.
    • Ensure food safety standards are upheld at all times.
    • Support operational efficiency, delivering seamless guest dining experiences across the entire hotel.

  • Station Management:

    • Oversee the production of assigned dishes and maintain your designated cooking station (with organisation, supplies, and cleanliness).
    • Lead assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Maintain high-quality presentations and tastes for all dishes.
    • Partner with your senior team to control costs, inventory, and productivity.
  • Teamwork & Communication:

    • Collaborate effectively with all kitchen staff and cover Breakfast Shift in the absence of the Breakfast Chef.
  • Innovation & Development:

    • Partner with the head/sous chef to develop and taste new recipes.
  • Maintenance & Cleanliness:

    • Uphold kitchen cleanliness and equipment functionality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ culinary experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and multi-cuisine proficiency.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to cover peak service periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for culinary excellence; commitment to continuous improvement.
