Company Description

CHEF DE PARTIE
30,000 per annum
52 week contract or term time only position available working 40 hours per week

Holroyd Howe is one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Brackley, United Kingdom. As a CDP you will support the head chef to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to make their mark in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

  • Develop and implement innovative menu items, considering seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and sanitation procedures
  • Support with managing inventory, control costs, and optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Participate in menu tastings, special events, and culinary initiatives to showcase the restaurant's offerings
  • Continuously improve culinary techniques and stay updated on industry trends
  • Analyze customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to menu items and kitchen processes

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification in culinary arts
  • Proven experience as a CDP or commis chef looking for the next step.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Creativity and innovation in menu development and food presentation
  • In-depth understanding of food safety standards, health regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations
  • Passion for culinary excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction
