Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located next to Blackfriars Station in the heart of the City of London, within walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and the South Bank. This Grade II listed five-star hotel stands on the historic site of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace and features 205 stylish guestrooms and suites along with versatile meeting and event spaces. Dining experiences include NYnLON, a sophisticated yet relaxed bistro bringing the flavours of New York dining culture to London with East Coast classics and seasonal produce, and Leaf and Cane, a vibrant late night bar with live sports screenings, karaoke nights, a dynamic calendar of social events, premium beers and a lively social atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities related to the Chef de Partie – Breakfast role
As a Chef de Partie – Breakfast, you will take ownership of the breakfast kitchen operation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and efficiency are consistently delivered. You will lead your section with confidence while supporting the wider culinary team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

- Manage and oversee your designated breakfast section, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensure all mise en place is completed and organised prior to service.
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs and junior team members, providing guidance and coaching where required.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management to maximise efficiency.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving deliveries, and ensuring proper stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to continually improve guest satisfaction and kitchen performance.
- Support the development of seasonal menus and breakfast offerings.
About You
You will have previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment. You are passionate about food, organised under pressure, and committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
