To assist the head chef and sous chef in ensuring that food preparation, food production, and food service is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with food hygiene HACCP regulations.

Job Description
- To arrive promptly on duty as scheduled in a full, clean & presentable uniform at all times, in accordance with company grooming policy
- Maintain the highest level of personal cleanliness and hygiene; ensure HACCP requirements are met throughout all duties
- Ensure staff adhere to agreed uniform standards and personal hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Verify that all food purchased meets the agreed standard
- Supervise staff training to collar, assisting in ensuring adherence to the agreed standards
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and compiling menus for daily business and functions
- Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and daily hygiene checks are completed
- Comply with all company regulations regarding:
- Fire Safety
- Health and Safety
- Hygiene and Food Hygiene
- Customer Care
- Security
- Monitor all dishes prepared and confirm they meet the agreed standard before service
- Perform ordering duties as required
- Adhere to scheduled delivery intake of produce
- Comply with the company’s Code of Conduct
- Read, understand, and carry out responsibilities outlined in:
- Health and Safety Statement
- Staff Handbook
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and tidy at all times
- Report maintenance issues immediately to management
- Attend training and communication meetings on notice when required.
