🍴 Responsibilities (Chef Role Focus)
Food Excellence & Cost Control
- Master of your section: prepare and cook to Nouvelle Garde standards, ensuring all dishes meet our exacting requirements
- Strict portion control & minimal waste to keep food costs efficient without compromising quality
Leadership & Training
- Model the behavior you expect from your team: provide hands-on training and guidance to Commis Chefs
- Organise and supervise mise en place, prep lists and stock rotations to keep workflow seamless
Kitchen Culture & Compliance
- Keeping it together: Maintain a clean, organised, HACCP-compliant workstation, strictly adhering to safety protocols
- Uphold kitchen decorum: focused, professional, and safe equipment handling foster a respectful environment
👨🍳 Who We’re Looking For
Experience & Attitude
- Three+ years in Fine Dining kitchen—preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Rush-proof: Can handle peak service pressure with professionalism and a sense of urgency
- Guest First focus: Unwavering passion for exceptional service; unshakeable ability to make every guest feel seen and valued
