Location: RAF Northolt, Ruislip, HA4 6NG

Salary: £27,758.696 per annum (£15.20 per hour)

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (includes some weekends)

Shift times: between 06:00 – 20:00

What you’ll do:

  • Work alongside the Sous Chef to deliver high-quality meals with minimal waste.
  • Maintain food levels and brand standards across all services.
  • Prepare delicious dishes for military dining and special events.
  • Support with kitchen checklists and post-service analysis.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with mess members, senior officers, and visiting VIPs.
  • Manage and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Take part in ongoing training and development.

What we’re looking for:

  • A relevant culinary qualification.
  • Previous kitchen experience.
  • Food safety certification (or willingness to complete via our e-learning).
  • Effective communication and a team-first attitude.
  • Ability to pass DBS and full security vetting.

Additional Requirements:

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Be able to pass DBS and full security vetting.
