Chef de Partie – Training Centre Kitchen
At Eastwood Park, we are proud of the beautiful surroundings in which we work and want to ensure many more visitors enjoy this wonderful venue. We are looking for a Chef de Partie to deliver an outstanding service to training delegates, visitors, and staff through the smooth operation of our training centre kitchen.
Role Summary
You will work closely in the kitchen, preparing high-quality meals for large numbers while adhering to our standard of excellence. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong food preparation skills and the ability to work confidently with fresh ingredients
- Experience as a Commis Chef, producing consistently high-quality dishes for guests
- Desired progression—this role offers development opportunities to progress within hospitality
Key Responsibilities
- Produce food to a consistently high standard for greater than 50 delegates daily
- Safely and efficiently manage kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, and plating
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and health and safety policies
- Liaise with the Catering Manager and team to maintain a smooth-running kitchen
- When required, take full responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of senior staff

Requirements
- Proven Commis Chef experience—preferably in a high-volume production kitchen
- Experience in hospitality training centres, corporate catering, or events would be advantageous
- Excellent preparation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and seasonal/median practices
- Ready to take on more responsibility and develop further within the industry
Working Pattern
- Hours: 24 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Operational Hours: The training centre adheres to working lockhours. Please note periods of closure during Christmas and New Year.
