About the Role
Working as a Chef de Partie for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. As a Chef de Partie you will work across all sections of the kitchen and support the Exec/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue. You will work collaboratively with both the kitchen and front of house team to deliver bespoke events and restaurant service whilst creating food that honours the seasons and celebrates local produce. Searcys is the oldest caterer in London and therefore offers a prestigious place to work and grow for the future.
Venue
30 Euston Square is a Grade II* listed award-winning events venue in a perfect central London location. From meeting and conference spaces to private dining and rooftop terraces, the venue offers an iconic setting for any occasion.
This venue is unique to Searcys as it is the only property within the estate that is home to a selection of boutique bedrooms.

Job Description
Job Type: Full Time, 45hrs
Salary: £38,000
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the senior kitchen team in the day to day running of the operation.
- To provide food/service to a consistently high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business.
- Supporting the team, training and mentoring all Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters, allowing them to grow for the future.
- To liaise with key people in the team in order to plan for the provision of food in all kitchen areas.
- To ensure smooth running of daily operations which include ensuring no disruption to the pre-agreed menu offer.
- Responsible for managing stock levels of that specific area including ordering when required as well as waste control.
- Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.
- To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate Personal Development.
- Occasional early breakfast shift cover when required.
- Any other reasonable request by the Senior Management.

Qualifications
- Be driven by people and delivering the highest quality of food.
- Exemplary behaviour in the kitchen, acting as an ambassador within the team.
- Innovative and inspiring culinary ideas for events and dining menus.
- Previous experience as Chef de Partie or a Commis Chef wanting to progress in Events, Hotel or high end restaurants.
- Ability to mentor a team.
- Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.
