About the Role

As Chef De Partie, you will take ownership of your section, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team. You will combine strong culinary skill with people leadership, maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards at all times, while contributing to menu development and operational improvements. This role will be responsible for working across any of the 4 following sections – Roast, Vegetables, Salad, and Sandwiches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and organising one kitchen section to meet daily production and service requirements
  • Ensuring all food is prepared to specification, including quality, flavour, temperature, and presentation
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs
  • Managing stock control, ordering support, waste reduction, and accurate administration
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, allergen control, and compliance

This role is fully on-site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You

You will be an experienced and driven chef who thrives under pressure and takes pride in delivering excellent food. You will lead by example, remaining calm and resilient in a demanding kitchen environment while effectively organising your time and section. You will enjoy developing others, building strong working relationships, and contributing positively to team culture. You will also be comfortable in a physical role, managing long shifts while maintaining attention to detail and consistency. Above all, you will be committed to high standards, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

You Must Have

  • Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen controls
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and coach junior kitchen team members

  • Competitive salary package plus service charge*
