Location: Towcester

Salary: £29,120 per annum

Job Description

Are you a passionate Chef de Partie, eager to leave a mark in the food industry? Join BaxterStorey where we nurture your gastronomic talents and propel you towards a meaningful career!

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head/Sous Chef. Ensure ongoing compliance with food safety standards.

  • Station Management: Oversee the production of assigned dishes while maintaining your workstation’s supplies, cleanliness, and organisation.

  • Quality Control: Adhere to high quality standards for dishes in terms of taste and presentation.

  • Team Collaboration: Promote open communication within the team and provide support when needed.

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and taste new recipes, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment functionality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role required.
  • Knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Alignment with BaxterStorey's core values.
