As a Chef de Partie (Staff Restaurant), you will take ownership of the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality, nutritious meals for our associates, ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, consistency and hygiene. Working closely with the senior culinary team, you will manage your designated section, support menu planning, maintain stock control and food safety standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience that supports the wellbeing and engagement of our team members within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals for associates in accordance with agreed menus and standards.
- Take ownership of the staff restaurant kitchen section, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support menu planning by creating nutritious, balanced and varied meal offerings.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
- Ensure food is stored, labelled and rotated correctly in line with food safety standards.
- Minimise waste through effective stock management and portion control.
- Maintain accurate food temperature records and HACCP documentation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.
- Collaborate with the wider culinary team to support hotel operations and special associate events.
- Ensure the staff restaurant and kitchen areas are clean, organised and compliant with hygiene regulations.
- Report maintenance issues, equipment faults or health and safety concerns promptly.

Core Competencies
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about hospitality and eager to develop their culinary career. You should have:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within a hotel, staff dining, banqueting or large-volume catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and menu planning.
- Experience preparing meals for large groups while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Good understanding of nutrition and balanced meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, professional and proactive approach.
