The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new chapter following its refurbishment. Join us as a Chef de Partie and play your part in shaping the future of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.
If you are a dedicated and skilled chef, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.
This is a permanent role, at 48 hours per week (including weekends), with an annual salary of £33,852 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

Key Responsibilities
- Owning and overseeing your workstation: Your role will oversee your workstation and alongside the rest of the kitchen, make our menus come alive! Working to spec and direction given by the senior chef team you will create the menu dishes for our guests to enjoy. We encourage your creativity and input in creating our specials and market menu.
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: You will ensure that your section is clean and extensively prepped in accordance with the menu specifications and standards, demonstrating food hygiene standards and an understanding of allergens.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious working environment, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and skills to foster growth within the team.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Charisma, an engaging personality, and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to keep calm and focused during busy service, keeping your station clean and tidy throughout.
- Knowledge of techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards, food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
- Organisational and time-management skills and effective communication and teamwork skills.
