About the Role
Our premium luxury airline catering operation thrives on delivering boutique sophistication, elevating every menu to satisfy even the most discriminating traveller’s expectations. With flawless execution, we blend top-tier ingredients and customer-centric service—resulting in an unforgettable in-flight dining experience.
We are seeking a seasoned Chef de Partie to join our high-performance team based near Heathrow Airport. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, culinary finesse, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll report to the Sous Chef (Operations) and play a critical role in maintaining our culinary standards while collaborating across team sections:
- Precision Cooking – Prepare and plate dishes to exact specifications, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to menu standards.
- Section Management – Oversee a defined kitchen area, delegating tasks to assistants and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership – Mentor junior team members via hands-on training and guidance.
- Inventory & Compliance – Track stock levels, maintain hygiene protocols, and align with food safety regulations at all times.
- Waste Management – Implement cost-effective measures to minimise waste while preserving proper food handling protocols.
- Process Improvement – Participate in briefings to propose efficiencies and enhance culinary protocols.
- Supportive Functions – Assist the Sous Chef/Head Chef in fulfilling daily demands within large-scale batches.

About You
- Experience: Proven expertise as a Chef de Partie in high-volume kitchens, with a preference for airline catering (or starkly similar environments).
- Qualifications: Three+ years in professional kitchens, paired with a culinary diploma or recognised equivalent.
- Skills:
-unningham efficiency, keen detail orientation, and an obsessive adherence to standards.
- Expertise in knife techniques and advanced culinary methods.
- Ability to multitask under time-sensitive pressure while maintaining composure.
- Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Readiness for physical demands—standing, lifting, and continuous movement—in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts across evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
