Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Chef de Rang - Coreus by Clare Smyth to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
About the Hotel
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Responsibilities
As a Chef de Rang - Coreus by Clare Smyth, you will be an integral part of the front-of-house team, working and leading your section, delivering sophisticated, personalised service and ensuring each Guest experience reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality. You will demonstrate confidence, attentiveness, and refined service technique while contributing to departmental performance and guest satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead, train, and supervise Commis Waiters within your section, fostering excellence in service execution while creating memorable and refined experiences for both our Guests and colleagues.
- Welcoming Guests with warmth, professionalism, and discretion, creating an immediate sense of occasion.
- Taking, placing, and delivering guest orders with accuracy and attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Preparing and maintaining impeccable table and service set-ups in line with brand and restaurant standards.
- Handling cash and transactions in strict accordance with hotel procedures.
- Managing guest enquiries and requests promptly, ensuring swift and thoughtful resolution.
- Confidently recommending menu items and promoting signature offerings and current incentives.
- Ensuring full compliance with brand standards and luxury service expectations at all times.
- Actively supporting the achievement of departmental performance and revenue targets.
- Maintaining immaculate cleanliness and organisation of all service areas.
- Complying fully with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Observing all local licensing laws and responsible service guidelines.
- Demonstrating strong environmental awareness and supporting sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborating seamlessly with other departments to ensure a cohesive and elevated Guest experience.

- Flexibility to adapt to varied service styles and operational demands.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience within a luxury or ultra luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
- Experience handling cash and point-of-sale systems.
