Scope of Position
This role exclusively covers the breakfast shift.
As Chef de Rang at Mauro Colagreco Restaurants, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service from entry to departure, including:
- Leading a service station and managing commis waiters to ensure seamless operations.
- Acting as the bridge between back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
- Supporting hostesses, baristas, and other staff as needed.
- Communicating guest feedback, requests, and logistical needs to management.
- Maintaining station presentation and restaurant aesthetics.
Responsibilities
Operations
- Deep menu knowledge: Expert understanding of all dishes, ingredients, and techniques served.
- Deliver flawless execution: Rapid, accurate food service with polished explanations of dishes to guests.
- Cross-team coordination: Primary liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Table perfection: Assist with table setting, ensuring immaculate presentation of tableware, utensils, and napkins.
- Guest ambassadorship: Educate guests on menus with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Proactive care: Check-in with diners, take adicionales, and refill water upon senior colleague’s request.
- Table turnover: Execute order expediting, serving, and cleaning tasks while upholding food safety standards.
- Feedback relay: Report guest comments and preferences to kitchen/management for continuous improvement.
- Sustainability commitment: Embrace zero-waste principles, sustainable purchasing, and teamшемentumd practices.

- Multi-tasking excellence: Proficiency in managing dynamic workloads while maintaining an +pristine professional appearance.
Desirable
- Luxury experience: Prior service in 5-star hotels (Forbes LQA or equivalent standards).
- Quick-learning: Ability to adapt quickly to complex restaurant settings.
