Job Title: Chef
Location: East Clandon, Surrey
Hours:
- Mondays 13:00 - 18:00, with hours extending to 10:00 - 18:00 in school holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday afternoons 14:00 - 18:00
Salary: £14.75 per hour
Role Will Include
- To prepare and cook home-made meals for the children using fresh ingredients
- Encourage healthy eating and liaise with care staff to understand the children’s likes, dislikes & needs, ensuring the food provided reflects specialised diets and allergies
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, ensuring statutory Health & Safety standards are met at all times and report any incidents in line with procedures
- To understand and ensure implementation of relevant policies & procedures e.g. Health & Safety, Emergency & Fire procedures
- To report any faulty appliances, damaged equipment, maintenance issues or other potential hazards to the Head of Care
