Salary: Up to £29,416 per annum (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, based on business needs Benefits: ✔ Site closed on Christmas and bank holidays ✔ Free meal on shift
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our catering operation for Eurest, in partnership with Norgine Limited based in Hengoed.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate food professional to take ownership of a diverse and fast-paced food service environment.
You will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service delivery, compliance, and team performance, covering:
- Breakfast, lunch & dinner
- Vending & hospitality
- Coffee shop operations
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full catering operation—from food production to finances and front-of-house service
- Develop and motivate your team to deliver exceptional daily service
- Manage food costs, margins, waste and labour effectively
- Foster strong client & guest relationships while exceeding expectations
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
- Ensure consistency and quality across all kitchen and catering operations

About You
We’re looking for a culinary leader with:
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef, with strong operational expertise
- A passion for fresh food, seasonal ingredients, and high-quality service
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills—inspiring confidence in your team
- A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage client relationships
- Financial acumen—skilled in P&L management, cost control and business KPIs
- Excellent people skills, capable of building trust, leading by example, and boosting team performance
