Chef Manager: Independent School: North London

A GBP 40,000

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm 52.2 Weeks Per Year

We're recruiting a Chef Manager for one of London's most unique independent schools.

This isn't your typical education catering role. You'll be leading the food operation within a creative, performance-led school where no two weeks feel the same. The environment is energetic, supportive, and full of personality, making it the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and creating food that genuinely makes a difference.

The Offer

  • A GBP 40,000 salary
  • Monday to Friday operation
  • Typical hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm

  • Around 7 weeks of school closure each year

The Role

  • Lead the entire catering operation.
  • Manage the kitchen team and daily service.
  • Plan menus and food offers.
  • Develop the retail and hospitality provision.
  • Build strong relationships with the school community.
  • Drive standards, culture, and customer satisfaction.
  • Remain hands-on with the food every day.

About You

  • Previous Chef Manager or Head Chef experience in Schools.
  • Fresh food background.
  • Reliable, consistent, and committed to long-term roles.
