About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen, based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional catering experiences to all Wren Employees. The position operates Monday to Friday, 05:30 - 14:00, with a salary of £31,000 plus a quarterly bonus up to £2,500.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving and handling food in the canteen
- Managing inventory and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and maintaining food safety standards
- Fostering a positive and professional environment, collaborating effectively with co-workers and customers
- Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Keeping the workstation tidy, including cleaning down at the end of the shift, washing up, and ensuring good observation of cleanliness

About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge
- Catering to large volumes at a high standard
- Experience cooking with fresh produce is essential
- Strong cooking and communication skills
- Strong interest and knowledge of food
- Customer service experience
- Ability to cover shifts for other staff due to holidays, sickness, etc.
