Standing proudly on the wild and rugged landscape of Bodmin Moor, Jamaica Inn is one of Cornwall's most famous and historic destinations. Dating back to the 1750s, our Grade II listed coaching inn is steeped in smuggling legends, literary history, and timeless Cornish charm. Today, we combine our rich heritage with warm hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and exceptional food and drink.
We are looking for passionate, talented, and enthusiastic chefs to join our kitchen team and help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.
About The Role
Working within our busy and dynamic kitchen, you'll play a key role in creating high-quality dishes inspired by Modern British cuisine, showcasing the very best locally sourced Cornish produce and ingredients.
Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie looking for your next challenge or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to progress your career, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes to company standards. Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in daily operations. Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards. Assist with stock control and food ordering where required. Contribute creative ideas to menu development and seasonal specials. Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining exceptional quality.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment. Passion for fresh food and modern British cuisine. Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation. Ability to work well under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
