Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our team working at Aldergrove Flying Station, Crumlin, BT29 4BP. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen within one of the messes, working alongside Chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit. You may be a Chef supervisor already or looking for your next step in Hospitality. To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and CTC checks. What we offer: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including some weekend work. Shifts range between 06:00 – 19:00. Pay rate £14.50/hour Discounted meals on shift, and free on-site parking. A day in the life of a Chef Supervisor: Work with a team of chefs or alone and kitchen staff, delivering meals, 3 times a day. You will be supervising and assisting the Head Chef. You will be responsible for preparing quality foods within a changing menu cycle, utilising Spec cards and adhering to our Allergen policy. Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy and all stock checks are carried out correctly. Fill in all relevant paperwork and food safety due diligence forms. Be an excellent team player and be able to deal with conflict if it arises. Undertake relevant training as required. Support in occasional function work and the occasional offsite catering requirements. Utilising company systems to place food orders, complete stock takes and plan menus. You will be set up for success if you have: Resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK. Must be able to pass full security vetting and CTC checks. (We will support with this process) Previous supervisory skills an advantage but not necessary. Relevant culinary qualification/experience. Experience working in a large-scale kitchen.
