As a Chef at N Family Club, you'll be cooking up delicious, nutritious meals for the children and team every day, while introducing young ones to new foods and respecting diverse dietary needs and allergies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, tasty, and nutritious meals—breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks—for children and a dedicated lunch/smoothie for staff.
- Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines for different age groups and comply with food safety and choking regulations.
- Memorise and accommodate all children’s allergies and dietary needs with precision.
- Manage restaurant-style kitchen operations—stock control, ordering, cleaning, and maintaining 5-star food hygiene standards.
- Keep detailed logs and paperwork for kitchen safety, menus, and stock.
- Apply excellent customer service, building trust with parents regarding their children’s nutrition.
- Mentor and support apprentice Chefs and foster a positive team culture.

Requirements
- Proven kitchen experience (catering, cafe, or restaurant preferred).
- A passion for food and nutrition, with a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Expertise in sustainable cooking practices, minimising waste and waste streams.
- The ability to work efficiently during peaks and busy periods.
- A friendly, positive attitude, with a “can-do” mindset.
- Strong customer service mindset (parents, children, and staff are your clients).
